Labor Gets Voice in Local Media

With a new radio program and a new television show, working people in the Rainbow state now have broadcast programming available that represents our unique interests.

KORL Radio (AM 690) is the home of Voice of Labor - a show hosted by Stuart McKinley, a business rep with the Hawaiian Government Employees Association (HGEA), every Thursday from 6 to 7 pm.

It features local guests speaking on labor issues, on-air phone calls from listeners, and union related news and information. The show can be heard on the radio or online at www.hgea.org. Calls and comments are always welcome during the show. The Korl Studio Line is 531-4690.

The HGEA's McKinley has also resumed his duties as host of Labor's POV on 'Olelo Channel 54. The show airs each Monday from 8 to 9 pm and is meant to serve as labor's bridge to the broader community.
