Org Takes Up Fight to Protect Workers’ Comp in Hawai’i

For several years, a concerted campaign has been waged in Hawai'i and many other states to systematically bend, abuse and eradicate state workers compensation laws in the name of "reform". One group in Hawai’i has taken a stand against this campaign and is inviting all workers in the Rainbow State to join them.

The Hawai'i Injured Workers Alliance (HIWA) advocates a responsible, ethical and supportive environment for Hawai'i's most valuable resource, its workers. HIWA strives to make workplaces safer through education, legislation and improved monitoring and enforcement of workplace safety.
