Short Elected to Fourth Term as IATSE PresidentIATSE president Thomas Short has been re-elected to a fourth term at the national convention in Honolulu, where nearly all of the elected leadership retained their positions. About 830 registered delegates passed 21 resolutions, including support of anti-piracy legislation and an increased minimum wage. The union also promised to support other unions’ drive to organize Wal-Mar throughout the U.S. and Canada. Short, along with all the members of the executive board ran unopposed in the election Among those who were also re-elected are general secretary-treasurer James Wood and IATSE vice presidents Rudy Napoleone, Timothy Magee, Michael Barnes, J. Walter Cahill, Thom Davis, Matthew Loeb, Anthony DePaulo, Mimi Wolch, Damian Petti, Brian Lawlor, Michael Miller, John Beckman and Daniel DiTolla.
